Dear Frances Drake families,
I am writing to you with a few announcements that may be of interest to you.
I want to thank all of the families that, one way or another, participated in our Booster Dragon Dash fundraiser, ending with the amazing and exciting Glow Run, in which every student got to participate (see attached images). Because of your support, we were able to raise $17,500 with pledges coming in from 13 different states and three different countries!
As you may already know, due to teachers' professional development, this coming Wednesday, December 7th, school gets out at 12:15 p.m. Also, on December 7th, we will have our all-city chorus concert at the High School auditorium from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. We hope you can join us to enjoy and celebrate our students' efforts and talent being displayed during this show!
I also want you to mark your calendars for our next school event, March "Not-So" Madness, taking place on Thursday, March 14th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Join us for a night of movement in the gym, board games galore, and BINGO in the cafeteria! Stay tuned for more details in the weeks to come!
Lastly, our PTO is currently looking for two people to become our next Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer for the 2024-2025 school year! These two positions are vital to the PTO, helping us with bookkeeping and budgeting. The PTO Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer are a part of the executive board and have voting rights for all decisions needing a vote.
