Hello Johnny Appleseed Families,

I hope you have all had a great weekend. As we steam ahead in December, please remember to send your child to school with a coat, hat, and gloves/mittens. The kids go outside as much as the weather permits. This week, there are some fun things for the students to look forward to. First, they will enjoy a Winter Concert on Wednesday by the JA band and chorus. The 5th grade students will enjoy Galaxy on the Go on Friday. 

Attendance - On average, we have had between 40 and 50 students absent each day since November break. It is essential that students come to school each day. Again, if your child has a fever or is vomiting (which is going around), he/she should stay home. If you are unsure, please reach out! Missing school has a huge impact on academic progress.
