Sky View Middle School

One week to go....

Good day, Sky View Family.

With only one week to go before our winter break, we have some busy days ahead.  As you saw in Superintendent Deacon’s email this morning, attendance and full student participation this week remains the number one contributor to your child’s success in school.

Thank you once again to our wonderful Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) and all the parents who volunteered to make Elf Shoppe 2023 such an amazing success.  We were overjoyed to see the excitement on our students’ faces as they selected gifts for their families - we were fully engulfed in the holiday spirit!

Sky View Hawks Basketball continues this week with road games at Oakmont and then home games against Longsjo (Fitchburg).  Please keep in mind the following information as the basketball season bounces along:

Games will be scheduled for 4:00 pm and 5:15 pm.  The boys and girls teams will alternate who plays early and who plays late each game day.

Student spectators must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.  We do not have staff on duty to supervise students at the games.

Student spectators are not permitted to stay after school in order to watch the games.  Student spectators must leave the school at dismissal and then get a ride back to Sky View at 4:00 (or 5:15) to watch the game(s).

Student spectators who watch the late game (5:15pm) must leave the premises no later than 6:30pm, as the doors will be locked after that time.

Our annual Ugly Holiday Sweater competition returns this Friday at Sky View.  Students and staff can dress in their holiday “worst” for fun prizes and recognition!  Come to school wearing an ugly holiday sweater and join the fun!  Prizes awarded during the last period of the day!
