   This week, the MCAS Math assessments continue, starting with our Grade 7 students:

The MCAS assessments continue this week.  Please take note of the dates below and make sure your student gets a good night’s sleep before each testing day, as well as a healthy breakfast each morning of testing (just like we should all do every night/morning!).

Upcoming dates:

• May 6-7: Grade 7 Math MCAS
• May 8-9: Grade 8 Math MCAS
• May 15-16:  Grade 8 STE MCAS
• May 22-23: Grade 8 Civics MCAS (Trial)

Student Online Accounts - Please remind your student that the school email/online accounts should only be used for academic purposes.  Students should be aware that the school monitors every student account and can track their searches and emails.  Students should not:

• ...use their school account to socialize with their friends
• ...use their school accounts to access inappropriate content online
• ...attempt to access sites that are blocked by the District’s firewall
• **Students using a school account for the above activities, or in other inappropriate ways, will be subject to school discipline and may lose their online access/Chromebook privileges.

Term 4 Progress Reports will be posted to Aspen on May 15.

• Please make sure your student is on pace to pass all academic courses for the year.
• If your student is, instead, on pace to fail one or more courses for the year, information on the required Summer School classes will be made available soon.
