Good day, Sky View Family.

   The countdown is truly on now!  As of this evening, we have 1.5 days of school remaining…wow!  Reminders and Requests for the final days:

• Credit Recovery (Summer School):  Families of students requiring Credit Recovery this summer due to failing a core class for the year were emailed on Friday and should receive a physical letter in the next couple of days.  These families will also receive login credentials and information from our Credit Recovery Coordinator, Ms. Samantha Comeau -  Samantha Comeau, over the course of the next week or two (Summer School begins on July 1)..
• Final Days - Our students are definitely feeling the excitement of the upcoming summer break.  While some of our school experiences will feel less structured over the final few days, behavioral expectations remain at the same high levels as always.  We tell all students that we expect their best behavior until they are off the buses and away from the bus stops after the last day of school.  Please help us to remind our students of these expectations so everyone can enjoy the final days of school in a responsible and respectful manner.
• Collection of Chromebooks, Chromebook chargers and all other school materials begins over the next few days!  Students should plan to have all of their materials in the building no later than tomorrow, Monday, June 17.  
• Launch Leominster Sky View PTO Fundraiser!!

FInally, I have the unique opportunity to borrow the well-crafted words of Superintendent Deacon from her farewell email this morning.  While she is off to retirement, I am moving to a new District and have many challenges ahead, but many of her sentiments match mine as my time in Leominster and at Sky View comes to a bittersweet close.  So, being sure I cite my source as Paula Deacon (with a few Sky View-specific edits): 

As the school year draws to a close, I am writing to you with mixed emotions.  It has been my honor and pleasure to serve the amazing Sky View Family for the last 11 years. 

Reflecting on my journey, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences and the countless memories we've created together. The support, dedication, and commitment from our students, parents, and staff have always been the heartbeat of the Sky View Family. I am immensely proud of what we have achieved together and the bright future that lies ahead for our school. 

As we transition into summer, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your trust, collaboration, and support over the years. You have made my time here truly special and fulfilling. I will miss the vibrant energy, the shared aspirations, and the daily interactions that have made this role so rewarding.
