Brand-New Playground!
June 2024
Priest Street School has a brand-new playground! Our students were able to play on it for the very first time today for it's grand opening! We want to give a huge thanks to Superintendent Deacon, our School Committee, and our wonderful district facilities department for their help in this incredible project!
Walk a Mile in Our Shoes!
May 2024
On May 23, 2024, Priest Street School participated in their annual Walk-a-Thon! The Walk-a-Thon is done in honor of all the members of our military who serve and have served our country. Students and staff march together in unity while showing their patriotic pride. We walked two laps around the Doyle Field football field--that's a half mile! WOW!
It was a "Party in the USA" as we wrapped up with a ROCKIN' dance party before coming back to enjoy some popsicles on this very hot day.
To all the past and present members of our military, thank you for your service! We at Priest Street are wishing you a very Happy Memorial Day!
Cheering Our Olympians!
May 2024
We took a trip to Doyle Field to celebrate and support our Olympians during the Special Olympics! While we were there, we met up with Calvin the therapy dog from Paw Pack Adventure Club! We had so much fun!
We Learned to Code!
January 2024
Our classrooms at Priest Street were visited by Sphero's Indi Robots! With the help of Miss Stephanie and Miss Haley, the students learned the basics of coding. We learned how to make Indi drive using color-based commands--how cool! We showed Indi how to drive fast, drive slow, stop, turn, and even dance!
Enjoy these photos from each of our classes showcasing our students as they help Indi drive around their classrooms. Thanks for visiting Stephanie, Haley, and Indi! We can't wait to code again soon!
Gingerbread Bridges!
December 2023
The Gingerbread Man needed our help to make his way across the river! K6 worked on their STEAM skills to build bridges for the Gingerbread Man. Check out the image carousel to see their progress and their amazing problem-solving skills! Thanks, K6!
